Georgia O'Keeffe, childless cat lady

Georgia O’Keeffe is known to have lived with two very floofy chow chows (Bo and Chia) but she also had several cats who would accompany her on walks. Another thing I learned: O’Keeffe taught art  in the Texas Panhandle at West Texas State Normal College (now West Texas A&M University) from 1916 to 1918, where she fell in love with the emptiness of the landscape and, as she says, “learned to see.”  Here she is with her sweet little Siamese cat.
